On our site you can find a lot of information about ARM  Cortex microcontrollers which can be find everywhere. I believe you are owner one of them even if you don’t know that. Just for information – in 2005 about 98% of the more than one billion sold mobile phones used at least one ARM cortex processor and I belive one of them is in your mobile phone. Android, a popular operating system is running on the ARM architecture. Not only mobile phones have ARM processor. They can be find in any electronic device.


At the beginning we have to explain some acronyms:

ARM (formerly Advanced RISC Machine and Acorn RISC Machine). It is reduced instruction set computer (RISC) instruction set arhitecture (ISA) developed by ARM Holdings. ARM architecture is most widely used 32-bit instruction set architecture in numbers produced.

And  what kind of information can you expect on our website? Particularly basic explanation how to start and work with ARM microcontrollers and how to prepare enviroment for programming. I will try to explain first steps in C code. It may sound ridiculous but we will first learn how to turn on LED diode connected to one of pin our ARM microcontroller. You can later also expect some advanced tutorials but if you are beginner trust me, you are on right place.
